Hey i was wondering in what ways can asm permanently damage your calculator?

I have never tried, but I would assume it would be difficult.

Apparently, if you get really good at asm and learn all the tricks, you can unlock flash and perhaps destroy the certificates et cetera. You could even overwrite the OS.

However, re-installing the OS would fix your calculator, but it might not run apps again, so I would not reccomend intentionally destroying your certificates.

You can also try to write to flash memory many times to try to wear it out. It is stated that it can withstand 200,000 writes (actually erases to be technical). AMD says it can last 2 million. In reality, it will last at least 100,000. I have had mine forever, and it still works.

Lastly, if you really want to mess up your calculator, write an asm program turn all pixels blue and hold them all blue for an extended period of time.
