Try adding a space before or after the words in the string.

Just erase the text before you move it, there's many ways you can do that and it all depends on your exact code, but like Jeremiah said you could add spaces (if you're just moving it horizontally) but you could also use ClrDraw or Text(B,A," ") (that's not just one space) or lines, or ....

BTW, maybe someone could move this to TiBasic?

To expound on one of Arcane's ideas, perhaps you could have a second string of blank space follow the first string of text around the screen. The first string of text would leave pixels on around the screen, while the second one would turn them off, as it were.
