Yes, there's just the small issue of other people writing tutorials for internal backlighting before now so don't copyright that idea just yet.

Uh, Kerm's the one with copyright issues, not me, and I don't plan on copyrighting it. Well, not in it's entirety anyways.

Okay, now I'm going to ask everyone again;

Who has backlight INTERNALLY a TI83+?!?

I don't care what other calculator has been backlit I just want to know and see some pictures of a backlit TI83+.

Agility, I clearly thought of this first. Check out the time/date stamp on the ticalc.org plans. Granted, they're beta, but the idea's there. Secondly, you can see the new plans and discuss this at:

How about you two start competing with your hardware, so in 3 or 4 years from now we'll be buying $500 videocards for our calcs, instead of whining on some internet forum?

I said the same thing on his forum;

Let's see.. the two of us working together we could create so many things...
Or we can re-enact the cold war and create stuff like crazy so that one person always has better stuff than the other.

And Kerm, if you look at the date stamp you clearly did not think of it first. There's no way you could've thought of it earlier than April 2001.

Duh, I just turned 11 at that time.

But the point is that there's no way you can develop a color screen when you're 11.

Yeah, it's not like it's possible that one liked to play around with electroniccs and could've learned how to solder 3 LEDs and a handfull of basic things like resistors and transformers together.. oh wait that is possible, and hardly rare either.

Logic gates, IC's, resistors, Transistors, interior of TI83+ calculator, LED's, all of the concepts needed to properly work with these things... of course an 11 year old could understand this quite easily Neutral .

All you have to know about the Ti83 is that it has a 2.5" stereo jack over which high and low current can be send.

Logic gates, ICs, resistors, transistors, LED's are all extremely easy to understand once you've learned about them. I understood logic gates, resistors, transistors, and LED's just fine when I was 11 and I wasn't really that interested in electronics. I also knew about binary code and what this had to do with high and low voltage over a wire.

I still doubt that Kerm really had anything before April 2001, not only because he was just 11, but because his first set of schematics were released on March 2003.

you wouldn't need a graphing calculator when you're 11, but who knows, an older brother can give you one..
