Lowercase is already built-in on your calculator, but you need to turn it on. To do so, you need an ASM program or App. Like Jeremiah said, you can turn on lowercase from the options menu in MirageOS. After you do that, simply press the [Alpha] button 2 times to type with lowercase.

mine used to happen like that until I did get mirageOs! Every so often before i i had MirageOs the lowercase would show up and sometimes not. Would this be a bug?

It could be considered a bug, but probably not one worth fixing. I'm sure if an update to MirageOS was released it may have that fixed, but I doubt the authors will take the time to fix just that.

So it must be a bug the calc itself has?

I've heard of the Silver Edition and MirageOS having difficulties, but I don't remember lowercase letters randomly turning on and off being one of them. A friend who does have an SE never told me about such things, and he tells me quite a bit. (I don't have an SE either, so...)

There was this one time when he got an overflow error on randInt(0,5)... Confused

AsmPrgmFDCB24DEC9 should turn lowercase on.
AsmPrgmFDCB249E will turn it back off.
Mirage crashes Basic programs if you either have a SE, or you use Input, Prompt, or Goto. I believe DS did this to try and lessen the amount of crappy Basic programs.

once my calc kept giving me the same random number EVERY time... It was very weird, so I backed up, and did a reset, and it was fixed.

I think my random seed was being reset to the same thing in an interrupt or something...

That happens after playing Slopes. It can be fixed by doing 0->rand.

It is indeed tied to the language apps.
