I kind of have a problem: i have a ti-83+. When I list all the files on my calculator using the mem menu i see strange things:

*sum(
*-
*det(


what am i supposed to do except maybe clear all the memory?

That is indeed strange, I suggest just doing a normal RAM reset. If the problem persists then I suggest doing a full mem reset.

a normal RAM reset wont work because the files are archived; a full will, i think... Anyways, I just deleted them Very Happy but they say a message like wrong address or something like that Neutral

Is it on the SE? I never saw the ERR:BAD ADRESS on the normal 83+, just on the SE.

Do you have any assembly programs on it? Do you have any third party OSs like Nimbus/ION? Which version of the TIOS is your calc running?

actually, i just reset my mem to make my ID list appear, and then i couldnt unarchive prgmCONTRA on my 83+ for this reason (ERR:BAD ADDRESS)

It might cause it makes the calc rebuild the VAT.
