Here is the question of the poll:

My RPG is called Crystal Legends, and before you start the game, you can configure your character as follows:

Hero (All stats equal)
Heavy Blade (++ Attack, - Accuracy, = Defense, - HP)
Swordsmaster (- Attack, ++ Accuracy, - HP, +1/2 Defense)
Paladin (-1/2 Attack, + HP, + Defense, - Accuracy)

I decide to add in one more personality, choose one from these 3:

Magician ( = Attack, = Accuracy, - Defense, - HP, unique magic attacks)
Archer (+ Attack, + Accuracy, - Defense, - HP)
Thief (= Attack, = Accuracy, - Defense, = HP, + LUCK (The likelihood of getting items from battles, all other characters have equal luck)) Evil or Very Mad

Thanks! Laughing

Hopefully not, because I voted the same. At least, I think I did... (Magician. Laughing )

I don't understand. You explained the stats and all that, but what is the actual question?

I think he wants to know which we think is the best choice. I picked theif, cause he does not lose any stats, and extra items are always good.

See it now?

It's more of an order/assignment than a question though.

Alright, maybe not "= all" for the Thief. Here's the new stats:

Thief
= Attack
- Defense
= HP
= Accuracy
+ Luck

Looks pretty neat Fixen!
Will it be an all text game or will it have pics and sprites?

The question is actually closer to "which is best to include in the game". Thief wouldn't have been then because it was too good.

Maybe you should take away the "Hero"? It doesn't seem to be good for anything, and you could add the thief instead.

Nah. What if some user hates changes? You'll never know. Besides, it isn't too much code to add another one. I used a list variable to store character stats, and I change it according to personality choice.

By the way, look at the thief's stats again, I gave it some bad effects. Evil or Very Mad

Totally graphical. Period. I can't send pictures because my TI-link port is ruined. Is there some place where I can fix it?

I'm making a RPG, I want to have like item sprites and stuff in menus, but otherwise it would be mostly text.

Drawing on the TI itself is easier...

If you e-mail your problem to TI-cares with the serial number they will get back to you probably telling you to send it to them and pay for shipping. My friend did this, it took 2 weeks I think, but they fixed it for free!

I don't know. Hey, I voted thief. Will there be any class that will upgrade all stats? (If this was asked already, yell at me and blame me.)

Then can't you just add all 3?

yes but then your list is stats X 3 longer, and all of the code that asks for a stat has to recognise which person you are, then look at the correct area
