Does anybody have a list of all the characters that can be used on the ti83 ?

I'm working on a little asm menu and would like to use a different cursor than > without having to learn how to do a sprite routine and write one.

I have the file that you want, but this site won't let me attach it to an e-mail.
Do you know how?

If it's not too long you could copy and paste it here, or copy and paste it in the e-mail (or PM) and then send it as plain text.

Um this is for BASIC programmers, but the source code is included.

The source code won't help since I'm programming in Ti83 ASM and not Ti83+ ASM.

You can see the general idea. And also, doesn't AsmGuru tell you how to convert formats?

Thought there'd be more to it than changing bcall(_callthingy) to call _callthingy to convert from ti83+ to ti83 asm, like romcalls that wouldn't work and stuff like that. And I was unable to find anything about converting in asmguru. I looked for _putmap with google but found nothing, today I tried again and I got 1 hit, read it and now I'll use a loop to try them all, so many thanks Smile

Wow, very nice document, I take it the hex codes are the values to load into the accumilator before calling _putmap ?

yes, load the hex code, then call putmap... whala! special characters!

Hint : .db "Hi ",25h,43h,0
will do a weird little string with the chars 25h, and 43h in it!

Use the 'Unofficial' bcall Wink just to attempt and make Ti 'frusturated lol. I think is curDown and curUp. Check it out in the Ti83Plus system routines manual even if you have an 83! Dosen't use sprites and includes a nice selection cursor Cool

I think what the world want's are fully graphical rpg's with a Warhammer (or otherwise very good rpg system) theme, multiplayer mode, and random map generator. Well, I do anyway.
