Have you ever had the code in one of your programs change without you changing it? This has happened to me several times, where I run program, get an error, and find out that one little part of my code has been changed without me touching it. What is going on here? Wacko

He means BASIC. The only time I've had something like this happen was when it cleared every command in the programs and left empty programs with the names of my old ones. Then when I deleted matrix [J] they all showed up again (of course they would! TI calc makers are insane!). Some weird stuff happens when you over-use your calc.

My friend had such a story:

He made a program, deleted it. And when he scrolled through the memory, the l1 - l6 began doing verry strange! Once they were there, but if you scrolled up, the weren't anymore there. And when you deleted a list (1 - 6). The deleted program showed up again! Wink Wacko Wacko

TI is soooooo weird!

well, i think they did a pretty good job!

if someone doesnt like it, then you should program your own OS and do better!

i know, MV(Micheal Vincent, the real expert) started one, but TI told him no, then they told him yes, as long as he didnt use their code, then i think he just didnt work on it anymore Neutral

i know stuff like this happened to me when i used mirage. it just messed up my ram.
if you archive a program, then use asm to mess up your sym table (so the program shows up funny or not at all), then reset your ram, averything will be back to normal as the calc rebuilds the sym table

It happened to me once where I had an asm program; after running it, I would check the hex code and some of the code would be different!!! Neutral

Where does it rebuild the sym table from? or does it just go through the archive looking for programs?

Long time storing in groups and running asm-programs, it seems.

Noticed another code change in one of my programs a while ago, after having it stored in a group a long time. Surprised
