I created a program and every time I try to run it it says ERR:Syntax and points to the place I ran it when I choose Goto. It isn't an error in the program itself - when I retyped it word for word the new program ran flawlessly. I'd like to know how to fix this if it happens to a larger program.

I had the same problem once, was getting pretty close to having a demo (no, not a walk around demo, a real one with 15*15 screens) of my aRPG finished but a "X+1->X" line seemed to cause the trouble, copying it to another program didn't quite work. Meh.

I found a two-byte token (BB D4) that seems to be made up of weird symbols plus a copyright of the calculator. When I put it in a program, it looks like RectGC but says ERR:VERSION 1:Quit whenever I run the program (even after I took the RectGC out).

The complete text of the token:

s(filled in square)(up arrow)(integral symbol)TI-83 Plus Silver Edition(filled in square)Copyright 1998-2001, Texas Instruments Inc.(filled in square)(x as a superscript)%?(x as a superscript)(tau)Z(x as a superscript)(cedille)^(x as a superscript)oe(x as a superscript)(filled in square)d!d(filled in square)(x as a superscript)(filled in square)d!(down arrow)e>}(filled in square)(x with _above it)5N(pi)y<(x as a superscript)d(up arrow)(nano)(0 as subscript){2

if you did any work on the computer then there may be a pesky space in there. an otherwise good looking line will not be valid with the invisible space Mad
