Hey EVERYONE. I have this SUPER URGENT question that I need ANSWERED RIGHT NOW.

How can I print something using Perl? I tried:

You obviously should drop Perl and program in TI-BASIC, it is clearly a superior language.
Perl? TI-BASIC? Man, you're all a bunch of n00bs. If you want to be a REAL programmer, learn a REAL programming language like FORTRAN.

system("sh -c \"awk 'BEGIN{print \\\"asdf\\\"}'\"");

Be sure to escape all your quotes properly!

And FORTRAN? Ha! REAL programmers use COBOL!

EDIT: Remember, all those old COBOL programmers saved us from a Y2K disaster!!

That's a good start, but it's better to concatenate a long series of chr() commands into a string variable first, then system() that.
