So today while cleaning out my recently deceased grandpas house/shed/storage unit i happened to come across a old wood box that seemed to be a battery. on the side seems to be "Heinze electric company" along with "lowell mass."

The bottom is sadly falling off and the one side is really hard to read, but i was wonder your thoughts on this guys. I posted this on irc earlier and tifreak quickly found a ebay link here which seems to match the makers name on the box, which was pretty awesome. Ill be posting more info here as i find it. Just thought i should share this rare find with you all.

Whoa, that looks ridiculously cool, and probably a pretty valuable antique, not to mention in relatively good condition. I hope you'll keep us posted on details that you learn about it (and be careful of any potentially dangerous chemical residue).

I shall! I am a little worried about whats in it since i was touching it alot, but i fell fine so if its poisonous its not fast acting . I think im going to contact the company i think its from here That tifreak also found for me. Maybe they will be able to shed some like on it.
