Cheers in advance to Elfprince13 (and Miss Elfprince13) for recommending this film to me; I enjoyed it heartily. The 20-second version is that a group of friends, all die-hard Star Wars fans, take a road trip to Skywalker Ranch in 1998 to steal Star Wars Episode 1 for their good friend, who is dying of cancer and will likely not survive until the movie's premier. The film chronicles their adventures along their trip to California, their revelations about themselves, and includes some fun cameos. I definitely recommend it to Star Wars fans, those who enjoy Sci-Fi, those who like comedy, and those who are not Star Trek fans. Has anyone else seen this film? _________________

Shatner disagrees. | Yup, that was the main cameo to which I was referring.

Bits and pieces of it to tell the truth | Ah, then I recommend seeing it in full at some point if you get the chance. It's well-worth it. _________________

Thanks elfprincess13, I'll probably rewatch it in the nearer rather than farther future to see what I can pick up that I might have missed the first time around. _________________
