So I was wondering how I would play Legit PS1 backups on my PS3 after I use the PS3JB tool that BrandonW made, if anyone knows I would love to, and if BrandonW sees this, maybe he can enlighten me too.
You can't yet. The PS3 scene is still very new...give it time.

Ahhh, I kinda figured, but I figured no harm in asking.
I feel awesome with my original PS3; PS2 & PS1 backwards compatibility.
So do I...I have two PS3s, one original 60GB with PS1/PS2 backwards compatibility on firmware 3.15 and jailbroken, and the other a 40GB on 3.41.
Ultimately, I'm assuming this jailbreak will allow OtherOS again. I never used it but when I upgrade my HDD at some point I think it'd be nice to have.
What are your ambitions for this?
I have no ambitions. Linux support has been restored or is in the process of being restored with the AsbestOS project, and people can play all the backups they want.

I was hoping that GeoHot was going to actually release something to add OtherOS again, but I believe that AsbestOS makes 7th(forgot the name of it) accessible, where OtherOS didn't allow it.
