Hi Cemetech people,

I have a copy of TI Connect that I bought a little over a year ago, but I have not been able to install it successfully on either my laptop or my desktop. Because both devices are running Windows 8.1, and because this software installed fine on an older Windows 7 laptop, I can only conclude that TI Connect doesn't work with Windows 8. So, does anybody have a different connect software to recommend that is Windows 8 compatible? Or, is there something that I did wrong, and TI Connect should actually be working fine?

Just a quick check first: what version of TI-Connect are you using ?
A device bought a year ago (that's what I understand from your post) could easily be accompanied by the older TI-Connect 1.6.x. You should be using TI-Connect 4.x instead (TI-Connect has always been freely downloadable from TI), if you aren't already.
