alright, so I managed to acquire another TI-82 which has 19.0 on it.
I've installed Crash as my shell of choice
(which is also the "OS" that this particular program works best under)

the problem is, with just the shell and program on the calc, their
combined size is under 6k.
when I go to run the program through crash, it gives me
a message saying that there is insufficient memory...yet there's still 22k or so available

I know the program works fine because i've seen it in operation already.

any ideas?

Is it TI-OS saying there's insufficient memory, or the program? I'd probably do a quick [MODE] [ALPHA] [S] to invoke the hardware self-test. I don't know exactly how useful the feedback from this test is, but it does include a RAM test in its initial stage.

good idea, man. thanks :D

but no, it was "Crash" that i was using.
I tried it again under Ace beta 4 and it ended
up working just fine.

maybe the unit was just being picky haha

anyway, i suppose i can deal with using Ace in place of Crash
for the time being.

thanks for the quick reply, dude
