I have a cast on my left arm that goes from my hand almost to my shoulder. It itches like MAD on my forearm, and I can't get to it to scratch! Has anyone had any similar experience they would like to share?? I can't go on much longer!!! Wacko

You say it is itching....excellent.

Now you wonder why I say this...the itching is the result of a strange phenomenon called healing, yes healing. The more it itches the faster it is healing itself. So do you really want it to stop itching? Ok, so it can get annoying after a while sure...but if you put your mind on other things it will stop bothering you.

Take a close hanger and bend it out straight. . . .next stick it up your arm where it itches and that should do! Do you understand?

My mother has a diabolical fiend, err, friend, who comes over and pulls pranks on me. This woman is 30-40 something years old and she came over and poured itching powder into my bed and my sock and underwear drawer. Let me say, the experience was quite, err, irritating...

I rue the day she came into my life. *Rue* *Rue* *Rue*
When I was younger, her husband used to grab me by my pants and swing me around until I flew out of them. *Shudder* Thank god I got older, got bigger, got wiser, and got a switchblade.

Thanks for that graphic, horrible, sad story. It got my mind off my cast. The good news it that the doctor did x-rays today. In a week i'll probably get a short cast that only covers my forearm!

You can cut it off if you don't move it. Err. Your parents might get mad, but you can get another cast :)

I knew someone who did that. Or, You could ask for anti itching medication...

Yeah, cut the cast open in half but keep it intact and add a ductile hinge on one side and some sort of magnetic clasping mechanism on the other, and you could keep the cast for long after you have been healed to get sympathy and special privelages. And whenever you have an itch, badda bing badda boom you just open it up and scratch to your heart's delight. One time I brought a cane to school (because at work it had been in lost and found so long that they were going to throw it away, so I took it) and everyone started opening doors for me. I thought that was swell, so I tried out a little fake limp, and no teacher counted me tardy when I hobbled in a good ten minutes after the bell in all of my classes. Then at lunch some teacher let me cut through the lunch line once to get food and again to pay, bypassing at least five to ten minutes of waiting. Faked handicaps are the keys to success, so pull them out and unlock the door! [Insert cheezy motivational speaker "Thumbs Up!" and "Glintering Smile!" here]

As the ninjas look back on the days events with much reverence, they can't help but feel somewhat sorry for the poor crippled boy whose cane they stole in a rampaged mobbing frenzy involving much long and tedious torture.

No idea where you can get one off the streets, but im sure you can. My grandma has one of those stickers, so we drag her along to all the crowded events and get first-rate parking.

PS I love my grandma.
