Have you ever used TILP before? (I am not saying to use it, but just checking if you have an incorrect driver)

Well, try plugging your calculator in. Then, head over to the Device Manager in Windows.

Take a screenshot of that window with the USB controlers tree item expanded, and remember, keep the calculator plugged in. If the 84 plus driver isn't listed (should not be called Silverlink), then I can help.

No problem :)

99.9% of the time it is the drivers that didn't install, or the wrong driver installed Razz

On this topic, I have a TI84 Plus and I would like to use TI Connect, but it won't work and TI support has said that it doesn't support SP3 on XP.

Is there a solution that is known to anyone reading this?

Thanks!

As this thread is over 5 months old and your question isn't particularly related to the original topic, maybe you should have created a new one.

You could try TiLP.

Well, he already bumped it, so I will give it a go:

What exactly "isn't working"? Hard to give an answer if I have no clue what is going on :)

And TI just doesn't want to be responsible for any mishaps with the new SP... It should work fine.

What doesn't work is that TI-Connect will not find the TI-84, though it is plugged into the calculator and the computer.

When I called TI support and described this problem, they said "we don't support SP3" and "there is no solution for you".
