Why have a separate list for the order of the party? That seems like it could be accomplished in the party members' lists.

Maybe if you post the current code, I can come up with an actual method, instead of just spouting questions. Very Happy

I noticed something in the three screen shots. The hp bar doesn't get adjusted at all when the order is switched. Will that be fixed?

Good catch. ;)

Yeah, I have two seperate For( loops running the hp bar and the text, and I added it to the text loop, but not to the hp bar loop. That is a 10 second fix. Razz

Thanks to a round of PM's and an execution by DarkerLine, this topic is now located in a subforum under Featured Programs and Apps. tifreak8x can set up new threads for differing aspects of this project, much like how Digitan's Robot War topics are intertwined. So, when you go to look for this thread, remember that it's on the main listing of forums now.

(Proceed.)

The town map, as you can see. It's 96x65 pixels, and that's no mistake: the Pic variables can hold the 96th column.
It is, again, based on the GBA games, because I think the Fire red/Leaf Green maps look SWEET.

Good pic!

Weregoose made one as well, but I can't remember what the address was for it. -.- I have it favorited (is that even a word? o.O) on my home computer, will post it up unless Weregoose can post it before I do.

Then I can set up a poll. Smile bwhahahaha to the new subforum Laughing

96x64, actually both the height and width are multiples of 16 (and 32, for
that matter) with an aspect ratio of 3:2. Both are even numbers as well. ;)

Here is the image I made, in which I took a more straightforward approach:

But we were talking about the Pic variables, which only store 63 rows.

I like that one too, it's very different in style (WAY less dithering). It's up to tifreak i guess.

The plateau (I think that's what it is) on the left looks a little weird with the ripple-ish effect. Maybe solid, or spotted?

I like leofox's much better then the other ones. It just looks better IMHO.

[Edit] Two types are much better then one. It allows for more strategy (e.x. you can use a thunder attack against Charizard (Fire/Flying)
