OK umm, for contra I want to archive the level data after it had been installed from within a program. Basically im trying to Archive and UnArchive prgmZLVL1 from within a program. First off is this possible? because everytime I do it I get ERR.INVALID. I always thought that you could archive and unarchive programs from within programs, but maybe im wrong. Any ideas?

It's possible with an asm routine to enable you to archive/unarchive stuff from basic programs.

You want to check this topic: Archiving Programs In Programs

You would want an Asm subroutine that would switch the prgm running flag, and run it before and after the Archives/Unarchives. If you made this a Basic App, you wouldn't have to worry about it at all.

I'm just going to close this since any further discussion of (un)archiving in basic programs can be continued in the topic linked to above.
