Why would you even want to overclock an SE? It's fast enough as it is. Unless you like to have super fast graphing...

Well, some people think it fascinating to watch a calculator find primes or calculate pi.

I would only want to overclock it so that all the apps I have won't go slow. Plus, I want to see what happens when I overclock it and play Phoenix.

You'd have to be a masochist(sp?) to play Pheniox on an overclocked SE. Either that or not human.

I don't think phoenix will run faster on a SE than on a normal calculator.

I'm not sure of that. It said that the Ti-84 is almost exactly the same as SE except there's the USB and other stuff.

Well it won't run faster on a regular SE or 84+ cause you have to set some sort of thing to tell it to go faster. But it will on an overclocked one cause that runs faster all the time.

Yeah. The deal with ASM programs is that their timings are set in CPU cycles or something like that, which don't change between processors. However, overcloking causes those cycles (or whatever) to speed up, so Pheonix would go faster and, as was stated before, you'd have to be a masochist to play Pheonix at that fast a speed (I can barely handle Fast mode, so just imagine Super Fast mode on an overclocked SE. You would see smoke.)

Overclocking
Click the link to see how to overclock a Ti-83. Think I am a masochist. I could handle Super Fast and just lose up to half.
