Hello,

Just a quick suggestion. Perhaps the IPBoard logo could be replaced with something more fitting?

I made a quick mock-up that uses a similar font and layout to that of the current logo so that it fits nicely with the theme. The gradient isn't perfect and I couldn't think of a decent slogan but it's a start and I would be happy to make any alterations if you think this is a good idea.

Definitely! A real logo would be nice, too. Where is the old one?

[Edit] I made one aswell. Feel free to use it:

I do kind of miss the unique touch of that custom banner.

I like what you did there, NanoWar. The smooth font is much nicer and the calculator logo is a good idea :)

I did a bit of searching and found the old banner on archive.org. Perhaps a combination of the old font and NanoWar's logo idea would be good? I remade the calculator logos because NanoWar's were missing some detail on the top and left buttons.

I'm starting to get used to GIMP now although I wish wine would stop acting up so that I can get back to Photoshop :)

Also, here is the high-rez calculator logo template if anyone wants it. http://i.imgur.com/qdoLY.png

The current FavIcon will stay because it was from a logo contest and voted by the members; hence, it is not my choice.

I like the current favicon. Of course that is totally unrelated to my in-game UTI references. No link whatsoever I say! Very Happy

Okay, cool!

Here is the reworked favicon. It's a bit less grainy than the original but with "new" colors and font:
