A chair fell on my calc. No!
Is there any way to remedy the black mark now on my screen. Would TI do anything about it?
Has it happened to many of you guys?

Ignoring all the comments I could make about how a chair could fall on your calculator...

Can you post a pic? The reason I ask, is because I have a little mark on my screen that is almost like a burn spot. It is just darker than everything else around it. I can see it with the LCD off too.

There's usually not much you can do - it's probably the screen internals cracked. You could try replace the lcd if you have the skills/patience/resources/bravery etc (it should be possible, but I myself have never done such a thing). I know a friend whose calc's screen broke, but I think that wasn't his fault (i.e. manufacturing error), still had guarantee, and therefore got a free replacement from where he bought it (the calc then got sent back to TI I think). Try that (don't tell anyone about the chair) and maybe you'll get a new calc...

That's what mine has.

I don't think I can post a pic, but if I can I will later.

Okay, you all seem to want to mock me more Very Happy so here's the story as to why a chair fell on it. Smile
My sister has these little two foot tall wire chairs. I was working on some particuraly stressful code, and picked a chair up and started seeing if I could throw it in the air and make it flip and I could catch it. After a couple of times I missed and it landed on my calc. Mad Stupid me!

Don't worry. I wouldn't rank it as bad as my trying to cut an opening in my toblerone suit (Yes, really), and instead cutting into my thumb  ...
