I purchased a ti-89 today  and have started to try my hand at a little bit of basic. I was wondering is there any way to get continuous input from keys using getkey(). If you don't know what i mean, i am talking about something similar to basic on the 83 family when you press an arrow and you can keep on moving something around.

Don't the arrow keys work the same way on the TI-89 with getKey()? If not, your best bet is to use an assembly library that reads keys in a more low-level kind of way.

I figured out that it does do it, but there is a one to two second delay, which may or may not affect what i want to do, i will just have to wait and see.
