renamr68k 1.1

This is a utility script for 68k developers. It automates the process of creating BASIC program, text, and application variable files for 68k calculators other than the one you own. GCC4TI
and TIGCC do this automatically with assembly program files (creating executables for the TI-89, TI-92 Plus, and Voyage 200), but if your assembly program relies on other files (like appvars
or text files), you must manually make copies and rename their file extensions.

This can be useful for BASIC programmers as well, if they wish to provide a Voyage 200 or TI-92 Plus version of a TI-89 BASIC program they wrote.

v1.1 contains a few bugfixes.

Installation:

You MUST have Python 2.x (latest build is 2.7) installed to use the script. It is most likely not compatible with a build of Python 3.x.

You can put the file renamr68k.py wherever you like. The "right" place to put it would be in a Scripts folder inside your Python directory, like below, but it really doesn't matter.
	"C:\Python27\Scripts\renamr68k.py"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Usage:

Either double-click the *.py file or run it with the command line.

If you double-click it, the program's help text will be displayed and it will wait for a keypress. Then it will prompt you for a directory. It will run through that directory tree (the files in
the directory and all subdirectories). It will always work on all three supported file types.

If you run it with the command line, you will need to specify which of the three you want with the switches -p, -t, and -y. For instance:

python renamr68k.py -p -t- -z

If you do not want the program to detect one of these file types, remove the switch associated with it.

Changelog:

v1.1:

Fixed bug where file names with a '.' in them would crash the script

Fixed bug where file names with more or less than three characters would crash the script
