I'd like to announce a new statistics PHP script that I have recently written and implemented site-wide. In addition to the new "Online Users" feature in the sidebar, the script records pageviews per page, cumulative pageviews, and sessions broken down into members and guests. This is stored in a logfile and displayed underneath the copyright line on all applicable pages. Hopefully our members, theoretically math-inclined if they program calculators, will enjoy this. Since I put in the recording section of the script at the beginning of June, there have been over 30,000 page views and close to 2,000 sessions. Members seem to have the largest share in the statistics, but guests increasingly seem to be pulling their weight.
Since several bugs were discovered in Doors CS 5, I have begun to work on them, fixed two out of four and made headway on the other two, and decided to rerelease the official Doors CS 5 as version 5.1. Those with 5.1 will know they have a completely stable, utterly bug-free version of this popular shell. More to come when I have made further progress against the bugs.
Edit: With the wonders of PHP, I have made this dynamic image, still in progress:
