The BASIC Elite, a quality-assurance group to oversee the TI-BASIC programming community, was founded in the summer of 2005. It became quite successful, but after two issues of the newsletter were released, the third has never published. You can read that story and many more in Volume 1, Number 3 of the BASIC Elite newsletter, now available in a new, spiffy HTML format. It also has a program review of Tanks 89 by TI-Freak8x, an article on community integrity and respect by Alex10819, and two programming tutorials by TI-Freak8x. Enjoy; if you have any materials you would like to submit to the next issue, please feel free to post on the forum.
