Cemetech administrator Merthsoft Merthsoft has been has been hard at work with C coding for the Casio Prizm color-screen graphing calculator. He recently finished an impressive Prizm project to add to our growing archive of Prizm programs: a Periodic Table application from the Casio Prizm. Merth's colorful Periodic Table application displays a full Periodic table, and lets you browse around the table, jump to specific elements, then displays data such as the group, period, atomic mass, density in grams per cubic centimeter, and melting and boiling points in Kelvin for that element. Unfortunately, while Merth was in the process of making this application, Casio released their own Periodic Table application, but as he says in the program's description, "this one is smaller, so it's worth using if you're tight on space or like me more than Casio." I encourage all of our Prizm users to give this nifty application a try, or if you don't have a Prizm calculator yet, to fix that omission as soon as possible.
