Could you tell me what year this type of desktop calculator was built?
This 1985 advertisement suggests that it premiered somewhere between 1983 and 1985, to make an educated guess. If you have an example of this particular model, perhaps you can look to see if it has a copyright date or some sort of datestamp printed on it?

I am the original owner and have kept it clean and well maintained. Would you have any interest in buying it? It's been a good friend but I would be willing to let it go for the right price.
I doubt you'll find a buyer around here, as we mainly focus on graphing calculators, but I recommend you get in touch with groups like the Casio-Calculator.com museum (http://www.casio-calculator.com/Museum/) or similar groups. Failing that, perhaps individual Casio collectors or eBay would be a good place to go?
