I am sort of hijacking this topic, but it's relevant. I am selling 16 of my TI-82, TI-83, TI-85, and TI-86 calculators for repair or parts or decoration, whatever you feel like doing with them. The starting bid is $25, or less than $2 per calculator, and shipping is fast Priority Mail. Fair warning: I wasn't able to get these calculators working, but if you succeed, more power to you. Most have battery covers, and some have slidecases.

Where did you get so many calculators from? Surprised

I have bought almost all of them for parts/repair on eBay. Most of them I succeed in repairing, but these are among the ones with which I was unsuccessful. In case you haven't seen, my current collection is here:

Oh my god what a cute puppy!!! Oh, and wow, that is a lot of calculators!

Anyway, those non-working cases could be a great deal for people who want to fit a GameBoy into a calculator case or something.

While quantity-wise he definitely wins, I must say that I'm underwhelmed with the variety of his collection, the majority being class sets of TI-Nspires.[/quote]

Oh, that's a great idea; is that something people are big into these days? I should edit the description to mention that.

True, the right half of his collection is not so interesting. But the left half has quite some variety.
"necro-bump" I believe is the fashionable thing to say when posting on an old topic?

Anyway, I am in the market for a TI-92+. There are plenty on eBay, but between the $10-$12 import fees, exhorbitant shipping, and uncertainty of getting the Plus model, I'm not too keen. Is anyone interested in doing business? I'll send a poem, funny picture, or small computer program to sweeten the deal if that helps.
