After reading about how to dump a TI-81 rom, I realized I could've accidentally done just that, only on my Ti 84+ and MSD8X and stupidity.
I can't remember exactly what I did, but I can tell you this:
Last year, I discovered MSD8X/USB8X and transferred them to my calculator. Because I lacked a proper USB A Female to USB Mini Male connector, I took the calculator's USB calc-to-calc cable and plugged in the usb A mini end to the calculator, and then plugged the other into a USB hub. I can't recall exactly what kind of hub it was, but it had quite a few ports.
I then took a FAT16 flash drive (16GB) and plugged it in. I ran USBTools.
This is where the memory is fuzzy. I can't recall exactly what I did from USBTools, but I do remember that all of a sudden, after choosing one of the options on the many menus, I saw all these hexadecimal digits scrolling across and down the screen. It looked very much like how you would video the calculator for a ROM dump.
Did I somehow accidentally manage to dump the ROM of my Ti 84+?
Or did I somehow view the flash drive's "ROM"?
