I downloaded WinHex the other day. On one of the web pages,
http://www.x-ways.net/winhex/allfeatures.html#DataRecovery says something about undeleting files, but it requires a password so I can't access it.

How do you recover deleted files (assuming the space hasn't been overriden yet) on Windows, using WinHex?
If your data is not recovered till now, perform search on Google "recover deleted files" you will get lots of option. But i would suggest you recoveryfix for windows data recovery software, this company offer free trial version, with the help of this trial version you can see the preview of recover data.

Software interface is very easy, no technical skills req. to recover data.

Thanks

Pretty sure this is spam. But not deleting it.
I would personally suggest glarysoft undelete.

If not go learn about file headers then proceed to search your hardrive for them. and see if they are actually files or not.

That was my thought too, but it doesn't seem that blatant. I remember that when I had a flash drive that went bad on me, I found tons of freeware programs and even more paid programs to recover the data.
