P.S: i dont have ticonnect anymore and i havree a usb cable.... With a TI 84 + SE... Can someone help me with the instructionas on how to download/install and fix this error? TY Smile
As mentioned in your first topic on this issue, have you installed the filter driver yet?
Yes I have

Excellent, and it was successful? In the TILP connection box, you selected the mini-USB cable and TI-84+SE?
Hmmm.... Wait so here are my steps on downloading TiLP
1. Download latest version of TiLP
2. Install gtk and TiLP
3. Go into website posted on the read me.(im posting this from my iphone. Smile so i dont know the website...)
4. Download the files...
5. Go into 32x and download filter.exe on... Mini usb cable and ti 84 then thats it? Also there is many usbs... Can u be more specific? Ty for your help!!!Wink
Ok, I think the questions that would be helpful here are:

When do the error show up? What did you do that led to the error?

Also, KermM was referring to configuring in TiLP. When you launch TiLP, right click on the left side and hit (Configure calc or something, idk). In there you can choose the connection settings.
Will it stop showing WARNING DEVICE COULD NOT BE FOUND!!! Then It will start working?

Assuming you did indeed install the filter driver properly, and you still have your calculator connected to the same USB port, I'm beginning to suspect that OS 2.55 is doing something bad for you. There's no way for you to downgrade, correct?
Close the error and then go to file->change device and click the little search icon, if it shows up double click it and make sure the info looks correct and you should be good to go.
... What.... When I click the search icon it just says WARNING DEVICE NOT FOUND or it doesn't do anything...

EDIT: Hmmmm.... It seems like TiLP is very hard to install for some reason.... I might have done a wrong step.... Can anyone tell me how to install it? The simple easy way? Ty Smile

EDIT2: P.S. I have a windows 7 and I have a ti 84 + se

Try grabbing the installer from http://lpg.ticalc.org/prj_tilp/beta/setup.exe and reinstalling, though as long as the filter driver is installed properly on the calc it should find the device.

Also please don't double/triple post, if you need to add something and no one has replied, use the edit button.
Well instead of downloading TiLP can I just use ti connect? And can someone just tell me how to fix the error ti connect.... (80070016 error please try again.) Error cuz tilp was my last and final option but it seems way to advance for me to install... But I really.... REALLY want games on my calc....

Options with TI-Connect are the following; if any steps work, don't bother doing the rest:

1) Uninstall the filter driver, or use a different USB port, and install TI-Connect.
2) Try the Device Explorer again.
3) Try a different USB cable (sounds silly, but sometimes helps)
4) Reset your calculator's RAM, try again
5) Do a full memory reset (Reset All), try again
6) Downgrade your OS to 2.43 (I suspect this is the one that will work)
Ok... I am going with the downgrade can you tell me the site and how to do it?
If you have a newer calc it may not be possible to downgrade to 2.43, at least not easily. So try all the other suggestions first.

There's nothing that blocks the downgrade, as far as I know, but you'll need to find a friend with a calculator and the OS if you can't get TI-Connect or TILP to work yet. TheStorm, feel free to correct me if there actually is a downgrade block in the newer bootcodes.

Since there are no official copy's of 2.43 with the new 2048-bit key you cannot install anything lower than 2.53MP on those calcs. That said there are exploits to get around this but it is still not easy to do.
hmmm... on TiLP im so close too actually make it work.... but i cant find the mini usb on filter.... help!
Are you100% its called mini usb?
Post us the entries shown by the filter driver installer when you try to install, or uninstall, the filter driver, when the calculator is plugged in.
