What is the difference between these two types of LED's;
GaAllnP 5mm LED
InGaN 5mm LED
What do these stand for? Thank you so much Smile
Those names refer to the semiconductor material used to make the LED - InGaN is indium gallium nitride, for example. I don't know what GaAllnP is for certain, though, as there is no element "Alln"; if we assume it's a typo for "AlIn" then that would be gallium aluminium indium phosphide.
