Now, before you go yelling about this needing it's own topic, or that it's in the wrong one, just stop.

This discussion is actually geared more to thoughts on the suits used, and the technology that went into making it work.

So yeah, discuss. Smile
I lack any knowledge in this area. At that fact, I will leave this comment: Nice performance style.
Well, the glowing is definitely EL wire or EL sheets. I've played with EL wire before, but I'm interested to note that they seem to fade the EL wire/sheets. I thought that that couldn't be done, unless you did crazy tricks with constant-current supplies. I assume that each suit's segments are controlled by an RF receiver, and that all of the on/offs are cued by some program synchronizing the cues and the song (I'm sure plenty such programs exist). And nice performance style indeed!
Well, it shouldn't be hard to do. You can insert metadata into an audio stream for some formats that will get triggered when the sound is played at that time. You can just use an audio player library of some kind and intercept the metadata. Or a text file with time stamps Razz

That's pretty cool. I assume that there are also programs that let you keep said metadata separate, considering all those synchronized Christmas light displays, etc.
