VERY basic blue prints:

I usually plan while I build ^^
Looks like a nice start, but a little too boxy for my tastes. Let's see if we can't come up with something both [ornate and elegant] and [excessive with use of iron/gold/lapis/diamond blocks].

Hopefully we find a way to link the roofs smoothly together.

I'll draw more suggestions later and might make it out of dirt in-game.
Those look great; I think the dome is an excellent idea. Gold block circle around the middle of the dome ftw? Cool sketches as well.

That's seems neat enough, although I wouldn't object to a simpler round dome, perhaps flanged by and connected to two smaller domes.
