So, I'm planning on having a small class for an activity for my Boy Scouts Group, and none of them but me know how to program, or anything about electronics, as far as I'm aware. I'm planning on going with the MSP430, because of the low cost, and throwing in a few small motors, Pushbuttons, LEDs, that kind of thing. Does anyone have some good project recommendations?
I'm planning on making them pay for the kits though, because I'm poor so nothing too priceey. I want to keep the whole thing under $15 if possible, and considering the MSP430 is only $5, that leaves $10 for various other things.
So, any ideas? Keep in mind they won't be able to do anything really complicated, or expensive, but they'd probably be fine if I gave them some prewritten libraries for some things.
