There was a nice discusion about the speed variation between z80 ti8x calcs. I will post the log for reference:

We see two oscillators on the board, X01D (to the right of the flash chip) is a 32.768 kHz oscillator, appears to be an Epson SG-3030JC which is a pretty stable one.
X02D is right above the flash chip and appears to be a 48 MHz oscillator of some sort. The package appears to be ceramic, which implies the CPU clock may not actually be a crystal and thus be subject to significant variation due to manufacturing, voltage and temperature.
