Perhaps I should do better research before I open my mouth. Glad to hear it. If it's true, then I will quite honestly say that I'm optimistic about Chrome OS.

From what I hear, the plan is to ultimately pretty much limit you to just the downloads page (at least for local storage), unless you're in developer mode.
I assume nobody runs it in anything BUT Dev mode, I mean, it's a bleeding edge OS, why not run the bleeding edge version?
