O_o I would consider that a vital step before releasing anything in the wild, especially something as low-level as an OS! Emulators are generally dependable for nice easy math and buttons and screen stuff, such as games, but the lower-level into interrupts and flags and ports that you get, the less you can rely on the green light from running the software on an emulator. I'd strongly suggest that you do hardware testing before you release something like this, in my personal opinion.
