I am trying to experiment with TI-Basic, so I decided to attempt to create a program editor. The basic plan is for the user to type in his code with a double comma in between lines, and export it to a string, for them to recall. It will then check for errors (very long term, at least for me).
What if the user wants to enter quotation marks within the program? Or the -> token?
Also, why a double comma and not the standard colon symbol?

Personally, I recommend C for projects like this, as TI-Basic is quite limited.
I don't know any C, (I created a topic for learning it), so I can't do it yet.

In answer to your questions, I think you can enter quotation marks and the -> token, but I'll have to check.

I think that I should change it to the colon. Thanks for your feedback!
