Hello everyone.

Hello jiha! Welcome to Cemetech! Could you tell us a little about yourself? i.e. What Programming languages do you know? What calculators to you use/ own?

Also, welcome Lephe, it's always nice to get an experienced member on the forum! Very Happy
Hi everyone,

I know TI-BASIC, some Lua, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, a bit of SQL and very little Python

I own a TI nspire CX and a TI 89, I program a lot on the CX and very little on the '89
Hi everyone,
I Know TI-Basic, ICE, Python, and own a Ti 84 and TI 84 PLus CE.
I have not made any games for the calculators (yet). Very Happy
Greetings Kerm and cemetech family,

Grateful for the site and resources provided, thanks. I'm a semi-retired (recovering) BSEE. Have survived the past decade actively participating in the 'Gig-Economy'. Currently compiling self-guided materiale for my autumn years of employment possibly as a data specialist or computational statistician.

Quite intrigued by your very impressive online Ti graphing calculator, jsTIfied. Possess experience with standalone/off-line apps TiEmu and VTi. Please don't regard my inquiry as heresy, but have you developed a package where the Java and associated SW components can be accessed by a browser off-line?

Best regards,

WoodyBoyd
BTW -- Present hardware includes Ti-83P, Ti-89T and Hp-48. Have used VTi, TiEmu and Hp emulators and downloaded Firebird for Nspire emulation on Win-2k, 7 and 10 OS'es. Seeking to duplicate these apps on Android tablets.
Hello everyone.
I am interested in programming and computer hardware. Back in my school days, I would purchase broken calculators from classmates for about $25 and repair them, since I thought that a new $120 TI-82 was too expensive.
I currently own a TI-85, TI-89 (HW1), and two TI-82's.

Welcome aboard! Yet another username with Pi wedged in Rolling Eyes
I look forward to hearing more about your repair projects, there aren't very many hardware based projects these days.

My name has Pi in it too. Very Happy
Hello,
As you guys have already figured out, my name is Sahil... kinda weird so people call me seal at school. I've made many programs in TI-BASIC and ICE. Many of which are games and math programs... well they all are ether games or math programs. Um, I don't know what else to say. I have a TI-84 Plus CE which according to KermMartian is the best for programming... btw nice yt channel Laughing So yea.

Question: What is the SAX? Is it just some random thing on the side that when you type in and click say, nothing happens?

Welcome to Cemetech, SahilS! SAX is a chat unique to Cemetech. If it doesn't work, you might have a problem. It is the thing on the side that you mentioned. Try pressing "POP OUT!".

I just tried that but it doesn't work. Do I need a certain amount of posts or something?

No you don't. You might want to post in Legoman314's thread, since he was having that problem as well.

EDIT: You should either post a screenshot here, or in that thread. ^^

All is done. Nothing seemed wrong except the last 2 lines which concern me a bit.

What do you mean by the last two lines? If this is about SAX, just say it in the other thread. Smile
This is not the right topic to talk about Cemetech bugs. Wink Anyway, welcome to Cemetech, hope you have a great time here! Smile
Hey all, I'm very interested in programming calculators, planning to get my own one.
I hope I learn a lot here!
Hey, welcome to Cemetech! I'm glad you're excited to learn some programming! As for the unasked question about which calculator you should get, I'd suggest the TI 84 Plus CE. It has a massive community right now and tons of programming features that no other TI 83/84 has.

If you're looking to start learning BASIC, a great tutorial is the TI BASIC starter kit and refer to the Command Index if you don't know what a command does. Smile
Thanks! My birthday's in a month, I'll ask for that Razz
Hello, I am FizzyApple12.

Not much else besides the fact that I like to code and I like calculators...
Hey welcome to Cemetech!
Which calculator do you have? A TI 84 Plus (CE), a Nspire or some other calculator?
What programming language(s) do you know? Just BASIC (like me Razz ) or any other language?
Have you created any programs? If so, would you be willing to share some of them?

OK I'll stop being nosy. Laughing
Hello, I was told to post my programs here by TheLastMillennial on a youtube video I made so that is what I'll do I guess.
I'm just wondering where.
Do I post them here? https://www.cemetech.net/programs/
Also are there instructions on how to get the programs into the correct downloadable format? I've never had to do this before.

Thanks in advance and I hope to have a good time here.
