Oh, weird. No. It's possible I already have the relevant cemetech.net e-mails in my contacts then.
URLs with parentheses encased in [url] tags cause the whole post to not show up. Editing or quoting the post restores the text, but only in the text box. Replacing the parenthesis with %28 for ( and %29 for ) fixes this problem.
In code blocks, spaces appear to be appended to the end of each line, which makes transferring code to SC and other applications quite difficult. Thanks! Smile

Example:

Code:
If 0
A+1->A

Notice how 'If 0' has a space after it when displayed, but when editing this post it does not.
This has actually been posted before and I think it boiled down to being a webkit issue. Do you use Chrome or Safari per chance? I'm trying to find the post but it's not in this topic or the SourceCoder Bug topic.

Found the topic! It is not a webkit issues after all, it's just how phpBB handles new lines and how your browser interprets that I suppose.
Yep. Thanks to PT_, you can easily remove spaces when you're wanting to copy code from a post into source coder. I know that link is in the topic but I just thought I'd post it here Smile
Something about marking posts in topics as read is not working. For instance, I've viewed (and posted in) the Cemetech 6.5 Bug Reports thread multiple times, but the "View newest post" button takes me to this relatively old post.

This feature worked correctly up to some time just before the Cemetech 6.5 update and this issue appeared some time just after it, but I'm posting it in this thread nonetheless under direction. It seems that it may not affect all threads, and maybe only this one thread in particular.

As per comic's suggestion, I logged out and back in. This fixed the issue, at least for now.
I think I might have the opposite problem: for some reason, at least on my laptop, every topic (including topics I haven't read yet) appear read. I'll investigate further when I have time.
I just came back after not visiting the site for a few hours. Four threads had new posts, so I viewed the newest posts in all four threads. After doing so, three of the four threads haven't changed status.

Once again, logging out and back in fixed the issue. But it seems pretty clear now that this is a real issue and not a fluke.
Strange, I have the same problem on CodeWalrus since August started, but on Cemetech it only happens if I don't return to the topic after posting (for example, if I click somewhere else from the Thank You page).
The text in the SC editor is too small; you probably can't even read it.

Windows 10
Chrome 45.0.2454.85

And the textarea for editing posts is also small.

EDIT: The SAX chat widget hightlight doesn't disappear when you click on it and doesn't go to SAX.

EDIT2: karma doesn't work correct; at my profile page there appears " /> next to my 'idCard'.

It has never done either of those before either. So, y'know.

For me that works always. In the URL appears "#SAX" and the black+red box disappears.

Fixed.

It got a little too short, you're right. I've fixed that as well. Please post in Comic's Cemetech 6.5 Bug Reports thread about the fact that the post body text is too small.

What do you mean by karma?

Can confirm that this happens in Chrome. Tari, for debugging, Chrome emits a "this.hide is not a function" error when you click the highlight box, while Firefox does not.

Edit: I guess I need to fix my own mistakes. Fixed.
A few bug reports: (I'm on Chrome v45 on OS X, btw)

- https://www.cemetech.net/projects/tisaxclient.php stops working after a few minutes
- [Edit] Apparently the sidebar IRC widget does too: https://i.imgur.com/EfUFmib.png
- I am unable to change my email address on the forum profile edit page. An error says my password (since it's required to change the email) isn't correct, but it definitely is.

Not much of a bug report, but it'd be nice to be able to change the username (for me, "adriweb" => "Adriweb")
Pop-out SAX should work now.
Inline SAX... I haven't seen that error since we used the website as a proxy. A lot of OS X users were having this issue. I can confirm our server side fix worked for them and myself. If you are able, look into the browser inspector for the affected elements, relay relevant info in the post.
Confirmed about the inability to change the e-mail or my password.

Updated your name already Smile

Inspector is useless for that. It's symptomatic of your network doing something.

OK Smile

I've actually only seen that error once, and it was yesterday. IIRC, it appeared on a tab that I hadn't been on for some time. Could it be an issue related to Chrome's recent changes (to save memory, it puts inactive tabs to "sleep", kind of)?

Alright, good to know it wasn't just something weird going on with my account.

Thanks

Sounds plausible. I did promote a change to attempt reconnecting (written before your post, promoted after) if the connection is lost, which should 'solve' that.

Tari just rolled out the fix for this.
Trying to quote a deleted post gives the strange error message: "Sorry, but only can reply to posts in this forum." I suspect the same or similar may occur when trying to edit a deleted post.

Example: https://www.cemetech.net/forum/posting.php?mode=quote&p=240606.
