is not a really popular RTS... but its my favorite for sure...

I played it quite a bit a few years ago. It was too easy to stalemate if you go to the end game phase, otherwise I would consider it a great game.

I thought Halo was your favorite?

I see what you did there.
The graphics are a mix of impressive (light rendering on the water) and strangely primitive (the blocky gun on the ship in the foreground of the first image). Looks like fun though; how long ago was this, and for what platform(s)? PC, I assume?
I agree. While the naval fleets were fun... the fact that they were still using big guns as primary weapons was pretty amusing.
I think it was out on PC a few years ago. Release year maybe 2006/2007?

Halo is by favorite FTPS
while this is my favorite RTS
but ya...
large guns just makes the game more interesting...
besides... only UEF has classic artillery shell guns, while Cybran uses lazer turrets and Aeon and Seraphim both use energy type weapons

Around that time, and the 2nd one just came out a few months ago. I like the 2nd one, but not as much as the Starcraft series.

The second one is awful. They dumbed it down.

He probably doesn't have the graphics maxed either. The really really cool thing about Sup Com is that it supports dual monitors. And that most of the game runs in Lua, so you can greatly modify the game.
SupCom is one of my all time favorite games, and easily the best RTS I've ever played.

Oh man, I totally forgot about the dual screen support. I always kept one screen zoomed far out to get a strategic view of the map.

i am sooo glad that there are more people who like this game...
in forged alliance there are only about 90 people online the last time i checked... and only about 2 games available...
so i wondered how many people are still playing this game.
