AVG isn't a very good choice in antivirus software, go to Avast instead. I would also recommend checking out Super Antispyware, one of the best programs I have seen for malware removal.
I'd second Avast over AVG. Microsoft Security Essentials seems to be pretty good for a free offering, too, and is very unobtrusive.

You can't get malware from TPB unless you're an idiot. And I've used spybot before. I suppose I should install it again. But the only reason I used ComboFix was because I had a serious infection that even AVG and Malwarebyte's couldn't get rid of. Anyway, is there anything in that log that indicates what I need to fix?

You can't get viruses or malware at all without being an idiot.
I don't even have AV and I STILL don't get viruses/malware.

...that you know of. Its fully possible your computer is infected and you just don't know about it.

Far more effective than your "anti-virus" programs.

Avast! or NOD32 if you insist on paying for something. Couple that with spybot s&d innoculation + scans and adblock plus. Also, don't install codecs for sketchy videos you download, and disable "hide extension for known filetypes" and all forms of autorun.

I had NOD32 on my mother's laptop, and it ended up letting in rootkits. I don't install sketchy codecs and I've already disabled hide extensions for known types and autorun...
Also, don't download cracked programs or keygen programs. The vast majority are almost always contaminated.
From what I understand, that's a myth, but I don't wanna argue with you over that. I just need to know what settings ComboFix might have messed with, and how I can fix or reset them.

Have you been running them outside of a VM? That explains where your infection came from. I honestly don't know what ComboFix would have screwed up though.
Again, I don't wanna argue the logic (or lack thereof) of establishing one of the largest online communities in the world for the sole purpose of infecting them all with malware. I just wanna fix my computer. Does that log say anything that might explain what got broken?

Not that I can see, and not that anyone else here can see, since they haven't piped up. Why have you still not restored to a System Restore point? Razz
I'm afraid of what I might lose. If I remember correct, all my programs remain where they are, and Windows just forgets I installed them, which doesn't matter anyway since they're all cracked, and in my Steam Games List, correct?

TPB doesn't make the cracks, random people do. The motivation to spread malware is huge on a a network. From doing it for the lulz to doing it for massive amounts of cash. TPB is loaded with malware and other crap, just like all a networks are.
TBP removes any torrents that contain malware, and there are ways of reporting malware to both the admins and other users via comments. But that's beside the point. If I do a system restore, I will still have all my programs, just not in my start menu, correct?
A system restore shouldn't touch documents and pictures and the likes, but any program you didn't have before the restore might not be safe, I am uncertain on that.
If the files are all still there it won't matter, as all my games are cracked older programs anyway. Now, if the restore ends up doing more harm than good, I can still jump forward to a more recent point, correct?
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand it's gone. I no longer have any restore points from before June, and the problem occurred in March. Damnit.

Then just reinstall, it sounds like your system is more or less hosed anyway. I'm sure most of the other people in this thread would agree as well.
I just reset Internet Explorers settings to their defaults, and everything works again. I reinstalled AVG(which wasn't working right) and installed Spybot. Thanks for trying to help anyway though.
