on ALL of my browsers exceot for internet explorer, which i hate using, all of the swears, no matter what they are, come up as @#$! or something like that
why is this happining

Parental controls? Not sure why it'd not affect IE, do you have an Admin account on the computer?
If your parents have installed parental controls on your computer, then that'll do it. Basically, if your parents have access to your computer with administrative privileges, expect that to be the reason.
What are you talking about? Internet Explorer is a great program.
