Oh, ok. That sucks. Sad
Laughing This one's an easy one.

Cool, that should (hopefully) work. Smile
Thanks, I'll try that. Smile
it might not, those sometimes don't work as windows doesn't store it as plain text...

hopefully it works for you though; let us know Wink
Aye, hope it does work.

lol@Kerm

there IS no illegal use with this. If the password is saved, its saved and can be seen, if it isn't saved, that proggy won't help at all
Erm, if you say so. So did this help you?
"This demo version recovers the first two letters of the password."

That sucks. At least now I know the first word in my password though...
There's got to be other such programs out there...
I'm searching, hard to find ones that aren't buy-only.
Yes! I found one that worked. Very Happy

Superbulous. Glad to hear it. Smile
I got linux to install again (win98 killed the bootloader), oddly this time there were no problems. Now I just need to dig a modem out of all of our computer stuff...
Woot! Finally, so now it should work since you found the pwd, right?
It should.

EDIT: Nope, it doesn't! Mad

My windows doesn't have the modem driver and I don't know how to install a modem in linux (wouldn't autodetect).

I'm starting to get fed up with trying to get that computer to work... Stupid FIC never returned my tech suport email that I sent a month ago. Evil or Very Mad

On the plus side, I got my tv tuner to work.

Anyone know how to install a modem in linux?
look in the install docs for your Distro

Or you can google, using "DISTRO + MODEM NAME" format

Dude, there's an illegal way for EVERYTHING if you think hard enough Smile

@Bombu: You have DSL right? Then you should really only need drivers for your ethernet card...unless you have an internal DSL modem or something.
