Ages ago I used to have a nice notebook of graph paper that was tailored for sprite making, it was denoted with thicker lines every 8 squares, and little + hashes every 4 to divide an 8x8 square into 4 smaller ones. Perfect for sprites on calculators or ANY platform that uses sprite widths of 8px or multiples of it.

I can't find it anymore, so I decided to make a rough mockup of my own, and it can be easily printed at home ( preferably on a laser printer! )

I was printing them 4 to a sheet, so that way I can fold it in half and have a nice double sided work area in my preferred size of 5.5"x8.5"

If I could find a mushroom/disc hole punch for cheap I would punch them to put in my disc-binder, but that is for another day.
Well done, and very inspiring. I remember when I first started development, I would use pencil and paper to draw sprites!

I have never been able to get away from the habit! over twenty years and designing sprites on a computer or calculator never once felt right to me, haha! I have a whole stack of graph paper sheets with sprites doodled on them still.
