I finally found the bloody code to get rid of that banner that has phpbb on it, and replaced it with my own. I am also seeing a lil bit of traffic, finally...
I also placed a counter on the index page, though I am unsure how accurate it will be...
Is it a custom script, or an external service? I am looking for a goo self-hosted server-side type stats script. Perhaps I'll make my own...
Something inside the server, though I am going to look at it and see if I can't make it better (or non functional
).

That is your speciality, isn't it?
Yup, that's why you're here, to fix it.
So did you break it yet?
Hold on, I am trying to figure out where the bloody thing put it!!
It says it put in a folder called cgi-sys, but I cannot find it...
Code: <img src="/cgi-sys/Count.cgi?df=tifreak.dat|display=Counter|ft=6|md=9|frgb=100;139;216|dd=A">
That is what I put on the page to make it work.
That's a system dir. You can't get to it.
Well, at least it is safe then... but there are others to tamper with. and at least I don't have to worry about the links script. The server won't even execute it. I will just start srewing around with it.
Nice. BTW - that link script looks OK to me. It's displaying etc. Or is that tripod-hosted?
Try going to another page. That is where the problem is.
And yes, that is tripod hosted.
Edit: I fixed the problem with it not showing up at all on calcgames, I had to change the permissions. No one told me about that...
Also, the error page is now better integrated into the system, and I am going to do the same with the forum.

Ok, I am guessing that the forum doesn't like the image map idea, and now it won't let me post the normal pic. Man I know how to screw stuff up...
Errr...I see you took it out again, otherwise I could have troubleshooted it for you.
Let me put the code back...
It could have something to do with the image id...
So should I change the name of the map??
Well, it's not back yet, so I can't tell
umm, I put the code back in there...
Well, I have spent the last few hours, 1) trying to fix the links code and 2) trying to find a links script that I can use.
Sadly, neither is panning out really well.
Use the script I made and we'll see what we can do.
Edit: Wait, I know what the problem is! We have to take out that Geocities fix.
I am using it. I copied it to the calcgames server, and it is doing the same thing that the tripod code it doing.
