So I have been working on some stuff for the past few weeks and I have created this

Title: ZFight

Controls
[2nd] : Ok
[Alpha] : Back
[Mode] : Pause
[Arrows]: Move

Story
The world is made out of triangles. Everything is made out of triangles. But for a triangle to exists, there must be a first. And having that first triangle means great control. And so, if someone was to take that first triangle, they can cause chaos in the world. Unless you stop them.

It has a "tilemap" level that reads directly off of an appvar.
It has a quick battling scene with 8 enemies
It has a bag (collect items by exploring for chests)
It has a save feature
It has health and EXP (earned from killing enemies)

I only have to create the level and maybe a final fight before submission.

Here is a preview (ignore everything white (because of Disp (debug text)))
Looking good so far!! I look forward to your finished project 🙂
Update 1:
Spoiler warning as i dont know if "bbcode" has it

working on levels and final boss now. THANK YOU FOR THE EXTRA WEEK. Especially since my state regents are this month.

this choppy animated png is crazy

CURRENT FILE SIZE:
- Ti Basic Program: 16206
- AppVar:
* ZFIGHTDT: 16407
* ZFIGHTSS: 3471
* ZFIGHTST: 5759
* ZFIGHTSV: Depends on you. For some reason this increases during each save. But the code doesnt seem to do that.

Also yes collision works, I just disabled it for the same of this.
Almost weekly update:

End Fight almost done. Level and Final Credits is left. Shouldnt be much

Any nice way to make this dialogue better would be appreciated

New file size:
Program: 25435
... that's a lot of dmg! 😁

Looks great, love the background gradient too. Just noticed the menu transition above, very slick!
Update ²:

I finished everything technical besides the level

Preview:

CURRENT FILE SIZE:
- Ti Basic Program: 28685
- AppVar:
* ZFIGHTDT: 16407
* ZFIGHTSS: 4637
* ZFIGHTST: 5759
* ZFIGHTSV: Usually only around 16 bytes actually used. But can go to infinity and give your calculator infinite storage

Code:

The Fs at the end is your calculator's Memory (Garbage Data). There is no harm, Right?

This is all I have to do left.

I also developed a developer version of the game (not that i would share it with you)

An annoying bug with designer is that (since the map is 128*128) if you export the tilemap to an appvar, either the whole app will become blue or some sequential function u becomes corrupt and causes a ram reset when trying to open y=

But i feel like progress is good. The program is only slow because of the calculator, as there is no way (I think) I can improve a nested for( in a for( for rendering the map

Here is the whole map in designer:

and i am finally done! : )

Map:

maybe ill add an intro but the program is too big and too clunky

CURRENT FILE SIZE:
- Ti Basic Program: 31530
- AppVar:
* ZFIGHTDT: 16407
* ZFIGHTSS: 4637
* ZFIGHTST: 7211
* ZFIGHTSV: ∫1/x dx from 0 to infinity
If u becomes corrupt, use DelVar u and it should throw an error. Then just enter u and it will give "Error: Undefined". It should be deleted.

Looks great too 🙂
