Has PPL on the HP Prime G2 gotten more stable?

There's a couple of online forum posts and general chatter about how PPL can supposedly crash the HP Prime in complex programs. E.g., TLM's review from 2019.

Is this still generally true for new firmware versions? Also I can't seem to find a proper changelog list of firmware, and I think that'd be useful to have given it seems to be under active development still.
